Sugar is the Culprit

We in diabetes always said that, contrary to the old wives' tale, it is not eating sugar that causes the disease, but new research suggests a strong link between increased consumption of sugar and increased rates of diabetes. Everybody's been screaming about high fructose corn syrup being bad for you, much worse than sugar. Now the distinction has disappeared. New research shows consumption of sugar in any form is the culprit.
