The Authors

John Walsh is a Physician Assistant and Certified Diabetes Educator who has specialized in Diabetes since 1981. When he started on a pump in 1983, he found there were no tools available to set basal rates and boluses, prevent site problems, etc. So in 1984 he began developing protocols that would make pumping easier for his patients.

Ruth Roberts is a medical writer and corporate Director. The authors share many years of personal and professional experience with diabetes.
