I am a father of an 8 year old boy with type I diabetes and on an insulin pump. When searching for a cool and stylish case for him to use with it, I couldn't find any so I started a company making them!

Our mission is to take some of the stigma out of having an insulin pump by covering it in something really cool. We want people to say not "What's that?", but "Wow, that's cool!".

We are pledging 5% of our profits from the sales to the JDRF --so buy a case and help the search for a cure. BTW--our cases are also perfect size for mobile phones, mp3 players and many cameras.

We also have a few extras to help with living with the pump including very high quality Velsretch belts, heating and cooling pads to regulate the temperature of your pump in extreme conditions, and some cool and fun enamel pins to dress up your case.

I had a Paradigm 715, but the sensor broke so basically when i put a new reservoir in and its priming it never stops and just shoots all the insulin out. My warranty has ended and I currently have no health insurance. I am buying my insulin from Canada($50 for novolog vial!) and using my stepfathers unused needles (he has MS). This is a very difficult situation for me. My daily sugars run from fasting at 250 to 400 during the day. I am only 25 and need to get this under control before I start loosing limbs or my eyesight. My A1C is currently a 10.4. Please let me if anyone can help me or make me a deal. I am a college student barely making ends meet! Any help is very appreciated. Thanks and God bless!

I read about a problem that I am experiencing and was wondering if you could tell me if the Animas pump or another pump has had this problem. Problem: 'Hub leak'. I have been having a problem with unexplainable (until now) highs, no alarms, no warnings. Usually happened overnight when no boluses occurred. I could smell insulin but could not see any leakages. I asked Disetronic (I am on the Spirit) and they had never heard of this problem and so had no solution for me. My doctor referred me back to Disetronic. Hence the problem continues. I am now on day 4 of high sugars. I have even changed the adapter (cartridge cap). I am 100% certain that it is a 'hub leak' as your website called it. Could you please let me know if the Animas pump has many of these issues. I have used 4 different companies needle/lines but they do not seem to be the problem. My sugars are perfect when this is not happening. It always starts when I do a set change. thank you for any info. Thank you for having this website, I thought I was losing it until your website confirmed that this is a real issue. (I have been a pumper for 16 years, and diabetic for 36)
