Change from proprietary to Luer Tip

I have found a cartridge on the market that allows my PARADIGM to use a luer tip set. I have been using the cartridge for a couple of months and have found no problems.
I have asked Minimed for their approval but, Minimed does not make any money off of approving them. :(

We use these for my daughter. The Medtronic sites were leaving her skin very irritated and sore. We switched from the Deltec Cosmo like a lot of folks. Her old sites were Animas Insets which have worked the best. Has anyone had any luck getting insurance coverage on these reservoirs?
