Common treatments for prostate cancer in men may create an environment in which Type 2 diabetes can develop more easily. More than 37,000 men were involved in the four-year study led by a researcher from Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

That's interesting. It was in the news recently that there are a number of studies that suggest that prostate cancer is typically over-treated. Men should be followed closely, but not actively treated unless the tumor (if one is even found) grows or interferes in some way. Many men have been followed for over a decade and don't need any treatment.
