Insulin Pump Costs

Hello All,

Need some help. My 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last December. We have been giving her shots ever since. We are thinking about asking her doctor if she is able to go on the pump. Couple of questions.

Suggestions on pumps??? We have looked at the One Touch Ping and Medtronic. We already know pumps themselves are expensive. What other items associates with a pump can we expect to pay for on a regular basis?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have just switched from a Medtronic Minimed 715 pump to the 722 pump so I have the 715 pump for sale. You also need reservoir's and infusion sets to go along with the pump.
