These one-of-a-kind, one-day diabetes conferences were started in 1995 by Dr. Steve Edelman, an endocrinologist who has diabetes. Attendance ranges between 800 and 1,500 people, depending on the location. Loads of fun, informative, and you see the latest in diabetes drugs and paraphernalia.


Diabetes Exercise and Sports Association

Diabetes Exercise & Sports Association (DESA) exists to enhance the quality of life for people with diabetes through exercise and physical fitness. Anyone interested in learning about the latest in diabetes treatment and technology, finetuning their diabetes management with exercise, exchanging views with fellow athletes at all levels of skill, and meeting new friends. This years theme is Exercise for Life.The locations and dates for this years conferences are listed below:

  • Indianapolis – under consideration for fall date
