Children With Diabetes
Twenty-five hundred people from nearly every state in the U.S. and a dozen countries traveled to Orlando, Florida, for the eighth annual conference, Friends for Life 2007. The conference was held from July 11-15, 2007 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, CWD's fourth time at this venue. One thousand children were in attendance, joining a growing group of parents, grandparents, and young adults. This year's upcoming conference should be a success as well.

Taking Control Of Your Diabetes
These one-of-a-kind, one-day diabetes conferences were started in 1995 by Dr. Steve Edelman, an endocrinologist who has diabetes. Attendance ranges between 800 and 1,500 people, depending on the location. Loads of fun, informative, and you see the latest in diabetes drugs and paraphernalia.

Diabetes Exercise and Sports Association
Diabetes Exercise & Sports Association (DESA) exists to enhance the quality of life for people with diabetes through exercise and physical fitness.
Anyone interested in learning about the latest in diabetes treatment and technology, finetuning their diabetes management with exercise, exchanging views with fellow athletes at all levels of skill, and meeting new friends.
